Bigger is Best in the States. Sunset Beach, Oahu.
Lined up like a car show. The owners, mostly youngsters, proudly BBQ'd from the boots of their trucks with music blarring.

Porridge. Exciting I know, but you have to eat it to believe it! While at the Prince in St Kilda we also went to Golden Fields for the 1.8 kg of roasted pork. Another winner.
Have had a few little trial runs in the moving picture realm. Will have something to show soon. Love the Zacuto Rig, makes focusing a breeze.

Along the North Shore of Oahu there are many Shrimp caravans but Giovanni's is the original. They have a 'Hot & Spicy' version of the shrimp that only the die hard chilli lover should attempt. On the menu it comes with some fine print....... "Very HOT, No Refunds".

This is the sensible option, Plate 1, Butter and Garlic with the lava on the side.

When it rains it pours. Have wanted to shoot Bridget for ages and ended up shooting her two days in a row last week. She's off to NYC this week for two impressive jobs. She's another one from Perth, but to only one that plays the Oboe!

Spent a morning walking around Spring street in downtown LA on my last stint in the US. It was refreshing to see another side of LA than the west Hollywood version I'm used too. Found the work of Nick Knudson throughout the cafes and stores in the area. He predominantly works in chalk or white pencil. I love it.

One of the most beautiful places on earth. Sitting proudly in the hills above the Bay of Salerno it is a must see if you are in nearby Positano.

Recently shot in the grounds of the beautiful Parker. An amazing oasis in the desert about 90 minutes from Los Angeles. Don't miss the hidden Mister Parker's for dinner or the homemade lemonade from the yellow Lemonade Stand if you get there.
Waiting for the afternoon light................

At sunrise before the guests arrive. The hotel was refurbished by the Seattle based ACE group in 2008, leaving the original Howard Johnson's layout mostly intact.

Back in Palm Springs. One of my favourite locations in the States. Staying at the Ace.
This little town is a sure thing for the blog. Everytime I drive through there's always some little quirk to photograph. There's a high concentration of Pitt Bulls in this neighbourhood, last time I was here it was like a chain reaction barking intruder alarm.

Things are progressing in Bondi at the moment with quite a few developments in different states of completion. These pics were taken at the Hakoah Club hoardings. Paintings by local bondi residnet "Stephen".

Here's Helga, the last of the traveling Russians. They have left now but look to be returning for a taste of the Aussie summer this Christmas. Love her eyebrows and nose! Reminds me of Hirschy from Melbourne from a previous post.

This is the view opposite Chinaman's Hat Beach.
