Celebrating their 10 Year Anniversary, Lover showed their latest collection at Fashion Week last night. They are an amazing team and I have been lucky to work with them over the years.

Almost everywhere is free range for shooting over in Hong Kong's public areas....if you're quick! We didn't have permits for the street but managed to get three quaters of the story done in the hustle and bustle.

I shot this on a press junket to document the discount, "holiday package", plastic surgery industry in asia where I witnessed a breast enlargement and liposuction from over the surgeon's shoulder. The element of the day I remember most was the pungent stench of burning flesh as they made the first cuts with a lazer. It apparently fuses the wound and prevents bleeding. Nice. Enjoy the view.
These buses apeared on the horizon while driving back from Pauanui to Auckland. They were in the middle of nowhere by the side of a dry lake bed like a lost convoy of weary travellers.

Shot Anja after seeing her the other day for a personal project. It was the day after shooting Solange so I continued the little beauty series. Love her. Such a good worker. Go Melbourne/Russia!
I've been really fortunate to shoot some beautiful girls this week. And as luck would have it, all the shoots were in studio and I managed to squeeze a beauty shot in at the end of the day. Here's the first one. It's of Solange from Paris.There are a few more hair options which Michael Brennan created but this is one of my faves. Nicole Thompson did the make up.

Here's another shot of the Spyder I took on my S90 without flash. James Dean was driving the 1955 model of this automobile when he came to his demise.
On a recent trip to New Zealand we shot on the famous black sands of Piha Beach. It's beautiful along the coast and we fluked it for an amazing day. Duncs helped make up the height needed to get the angle required for the shot! Champion.

I shot at this house on a trip to Fiji and this is the little daughter of the family that lived there. She was mesmorised by all the action, and didn't budge from her vantage point in the doorway for the entire time we were there.

Shot Chloe at sunrise in Glenorchy after a 4:30am start for hair and make up. Hailing from Wellington on the North Island, Chloe is definately one of NZ's promising new faces. She's heading over for fashion week, so look out for her on the runway.

Shot these two portraits while working out the lighting for a Mens Style shoot. The boys were still in different stages of hair / grooming but I got them over to the set to take a quick snap as I was pretty happy about where we had got to with the light.
Botswana Butchery. Queenstown. Go there with another carnivor and order the Slow roasted Cardrona Lamb Shoulder for two, (actually enough for three). The restaurant is set right beside Lake Wakatipu with an amazing view over the water from upstairs.
Deus Cafe. Auckland. just like the one here in Sydney but BIGGER. Motorbikes, classic cars and Retro BMX's on permanent display inside a minimal warehouse shell.
