I finally got my hands on an x100. Unfortunately not mine. I accosted a Japanese tourist in the Department Store when I saw his hanging around his neck. Looks like a very nice camera, not at heavy as I thought it would be but it does feel extremely well built.

This is the neighbourhood where a lot of the filming was carried out for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Filming for the up coming, "The Hobbit" movie is imminent locals say.

One of my favourite food spots in my home town! It's on Spring Street near Bourke Street. The Chateaubriand for two people is a winner.
This Soccer Pitch was where I was headed when I shot the Staff Carpark one. Pretty amazing location right on the coast. Check out the massive Oceanliners in the background.
There were soccer pitches everywhere in Mexico, but I never saw anyone playing on them. This one was out the back of the hotel I was staying at next to the staff car park.
Shot this in the top of an old red double decker bus. The light was beautiful coming through the neglected dusty top windows! Unlike my usual end of the day 'quick' beauty shot this was just before lunch. Fabienne is another Perth export, comfirming that there is something in the water over on the west coast...

Here are a couple of pics from a trip to Hong Kong last year. One of the most hot and humid places I've shot in. Even at 11pm at night. Shooting in the middle of the intersection was a challenge. Noisy, hot and buses zooming past less than a meter away from the light. We didn't hang around for long.
This is my favourite place in LA for coffee and their magic Asparagus Omlette!
It was sooo hot the day we shot here. The umbrella is up for shade not as a light for the shoot. The shot below is a wider angle of the earlier post, "Girls, Melissa Haro."As you can see from the shadows it's the last light. Even my digi operator is off packing up, (Which is evident from the lone computer/tripod setup.), while I snap the last few frames of the day.
Went down to Melbourne for work this week and shot this little gem. Eventhough she's still at school she was a dream in front of the camera. This was shot before she went into makeup.

While doing the location search for a job in Palm Springs last year I shot a series of properties from the street. After the first couple I really started to focus on the quirky features of each of the graphic homes. This is the first one from the series, there's about 6 more to come.
