NEW WORK. Grazia, Toowoomba Travels
Shot this new story up north in Toowoomba on a 160 year old sheep station, Jondaryan. Had the pleasure of shooting one of my favourites up there Chloe Lecareux, check out the rest of the story here.

The morning view before everyone has woken while I was on the search for morning coffee. Came home empty handed unfortunately!
Got my hands on a Iphone 7 Plus last week and have had a quick look at the camera and thought I'd post this comparison of how much the second longer lens zooms in for the other gadget geeks out there interested. The shaded magenta area shows the degree it zooms to.
We were lucky enough to take in this view each morning on our way down to breakfast. Pretty beautiful way to start the day and search out some other delicious pizza, pasta or granita!
The journey to the outer edge of the CBD is worth the effort to end up at Higher Ground. The recently opened eatery is housed in a cavernous space that was once a power station servicing Melbourne until 1981.
The menu is quirky, not your regular bacon and eggs. I had the scrambled eggs with cauliflower, tasty combo. It's sister restaurant is Top Paddock in Richmond and the quality food made the trip across the city.
A world of change has happened down the Elizabeth Street end of the CBD since I went to RMIT 15 years ago.
As a coffee lover searching out the first one for the day, it was nice to come across Market Lane Coffee across the street from the Queen Vic Markets.
Perfect start to the day.
This story came out yesterday. We shot it on one of the most beautiful locations I've ever been lucky enough to work in. Minaret Station is a 15 minute helicopter ride from Wanaka on the south island of New Zealand. The guys from Alpine Helicopters / Minaret got us up there safe and sound ready for the morning light to crack over the top of the surrounding mountains.
You can see the rest of the story here.
Every Sunday night the hotel puts on a Sicilian BBQ feast! It was a perfect finish to our stay at the hotel. Staff was amazing, nothing was too hard and everything done with a smile.
Very close to Isola Bella a must see in the area and close to the cable car that takes to up to the old town of Taormina.
I was looking for a smart little travel camera and came across the Leica Q.
I've had it for a few weeks now and it's produced a few crackers with the help of the Italian landscape. These here are just Jpegs with a little treatment on them in the VSCO app. I'll process the Raws when I return home to check the real qualities of the files.
The guys at Alpine flew us to the Minaret Station Hunters Lodge to shoot a story for Grazia.
Couldn't have had a better day. One of the most beautiful spots I've ever had the privilege of shooting.
Originally a deer hunters shelter during the summer months back in the 50's before the use of helicopters changed the whole industry in the 60's.
Bloody good Italian food! Jam packed with locals for 55 years proving its name sake dish is not to be missed!
The Tiramisu is a winner too.
More of this little beauty to come soon!
After a long wait I finally was lucky enough to shoot at this little gem just off the coast from Mission Beach, QLD.
Ive always love the pictures from this tiny island and hoped I'd get there one day. It sits next to Dunk Island which is a 20 minute boat ride from the mainland. We also shot at Beaver Cay which is an even tinier sand spit 90 mins out to sea.
Spending Christmas in New York City this year and have found my new favourite restaurant. CARBONE.
Surprisingly there are two in the city, make no mistake, this one is on Thompson Street. 181 to be exact.
The menu is designed to share and there were some real beauties on it.
The Ragu and Lobster Ravioli were stand outs as appetisers.
Chilli Ribs and the steamed fish were my faves for mains.
Check it out if you get a chance!
Thanks Elyse and Kyra.
Back on the ground in Sydney now but snapped this on our recent trip to France. Stayed at the Pavillion De La Reine which was cool little boutique hotel if you're looking for one!
Spent the afternoon shooting on the Concerto in Sydney Harbour. What a location. #luckycountry
