So unusual to see one of my pics this BIG! Amazing. Shot it on the trusty old Canon 1dsMarkIII. Great camera. Look forward to checking out the new 1dX and 5d MarkIII though.

What a beauty! Hailing from Nelson on the south island of New Zealand this little champ is on her way to the big smoke of NYC. Catch her if you can!

My second favourite thing after the spectacular landscapes in Queenstown is the Bluff oyster. I tried them here for the first time and I've managed to time the season by one day! Magic.

Shot from the sky on the way back from Milford Sound.
I've been here three times to shoot now but this is the first time we've traveled by helicopter to location. The driveable locations are amazing but to be able to get to Milford Sound and Mount Tutoko in 35 mins by helicopter and be in a landscape that is almost unbelieveable is spectacular! Phil and Peter at helitours.co.nz were awesome and kept even our first timers nerves at ease!

Love a good coincidence.

Here from the Ukraine, Mira is one of my favourite freckled beauties! She's quite the character and speaks a bunch of different languages. Shot this at the end of the day today. Magic.

Love a black and white job!

This print arrived today at the studio. Got prime position front and center at Luxe. Love it!!
In my career the humble cyc is probably one of the most used pieces of equipment in my day to day work. Despite this, it's probably the thing I know the least about, other than it looks amazing freshly painted and a bad one can be a receipe for a retouching disaster!
So when I came across this bare bones repair I was pretty impressed at what went into making the big white wave. I was most surprised by the simple innovation in the wood to make it curve with ease. Nice.
"Stop! Don't stand on the curvy bit!"

Cumulus INC. Ten dishes. Ten winners. Shoulder Lamb. Tuna Tartare with Smashed Peas. Malted something dessert. Done.
I shot Gemma in Melbourne last week she was a diamond in the rough, love her defined features. I foolishly thought that all the talent is in Sydney but we shot a number of great girls that day. A nice suprise from my home town!

Off the main Clarendon street strip, this coffee joint is worth the wander down the lane way.

Hailing from Dunedin NZ orginally, Bella is based out of New York now. She is represented by Priscillas here in Sydney.
Happy Australia Day!

Beautifully fitted out by Iain Halliday, La Croix is my new favourite coffee stop in the Cross. Can't go past the Caramelised apple tarte tatin with your caffine fix.
Here's a pic that was recently shot for friends project, Pass It On. It explores the inspirations and processes of creatives in different fields. Kennan Motto Designed and Art Directed. Portrait was by Amanda Como.
This is my favourite Polaroid Camera!
